Butterfly Sirloin Steak


The Butterfly Sirloin Steak is a Sirloin that has been butterflied … or fileted in the middle and opened so that it is thin.  It gives the appearance of two symmetrical butterfly wings connected along the center.  The cut was originally designed for making Milanesa (an Argentinian specialty that is breaded, pan fried, and served almost like a pizza with cheese and tomatoes.)  But this cut is extremely versatile, and can be used as a quick boneless “bistec” or grilled for fajitas, etc.    13,000 colones / kg
